Seminole ISD is excited to welcome Chris Gonzales as the new head baseball coach for the Indians.
Gonzales is entering his 13th year as an educator and his 11th year in coaching. This upcoming
season will begin his 8th as a Head Baseball coach, most of his career spent at Denver City.
During his time there, he compiled a winning record of 95-52-4 and several very successful playoff runs.
A few of his accomplishments include:
- 2018 Regional Semi-finalist
- 2019 Area Finalist
- 2019 GWTBCA All-Star Coach
- 2021 Regional Quarter Finalist
- 2022 District 3-3A Champions
- 2022 District 3-3A Coach of the Year
- 100th Victory
- Regional Quarter Finalist
Gonzlaes is extremely excited about the opportunity to take over the Indian Baseball Program. He wants to build on the tradition of success Seminole is known for by taking the program to the next level.
Gonzales is married to Jessica Gonzales, who also works for Seminole ISD as an assistant Speech Language Pathologist. Together they have 5 kids Samantha, Zakeri, Brayden, Jacob, and Sophia.
